Hairy Hawker Brachytron pratense
Uncommon and local southern species. Bays, stream estuaries, ponds and forest lakes.
Flight period: Early, from early June to end of July, even beginning of August.
Male is small, stubby and brightly coloured, sometimes even resembling Blue Hawker Aeshna cyanea! Petri Parkko
